What is Ananda ?
Pronounced ‘AH-NAN-DA’, Ananda is the Sanskrit word for the deep joy, peace, and wholeness that emerges when we remember who we truly are.
Because when WE move from living through our pain body to embodying our light body, WE stop being unconsciously driven by old wounds and begin living from greater awareness, freedom, purpose, and connection to our AUTHENTIC self.

At Awaken Ananda, I help women heal the patterns that keep them stuck in survival mode so they can reconnect with who they truly are.
Many of us spend years living from what I call the pain body, the accumulated stress, wounds, conditioning, and protective patterns we've developed throughout our lives.
Over time, those patterns can affect every part of us.
Our bodies carry tension and exhaustion.
Our minds become filled with worry, self-doubt, and overthinking.
Our emotions feel overwhelming—or sometimes completely shut down.
Our connection to ourselves, our intuition, and something greater begins to fade.
The good news is that healing is possible.
When we learn to regulate the nervous system, reconnect with the body, and create safety within ourselves, something begins to shift.
We move from pain body to energy body.
From surviving to living.
From disconnection to deep self-trust.
From who we learned to be to who we truly are.

At Awaken Ananda, I believe that pain is not the end of the story. It is often the beginning of a deeper journey back to yourself.
Many people arrive at this work feeling disconnected from who we truly are. We have spent years carrying stress, trauma, responsibilities, expectations, and survival patterns. We may have achieved success on the outside, yet still feel exhausted, stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected on the inside.
We KNOW something needs to change.
What we often need is not more information.
We need a map.
A map that helps us understand where we are, how we got there, and how to move forward.

Hello, I ’m Priya, founder of Awaken Ananda
Who is Priya?
I'm Priya Lakhi, founder of Awaken Ananda, trauma-informed coach, nervous system educator, Reiki Master Teacher, and lifelong student of healing and transformation.
My path to this work was not linear. After nearly two decades as a criminal defense trial lawyer and professor, chronic stress, burnout, and personal healing challenges led me to question everything I thought I knew about success, achievement, and well-being. What began as my own search for healing became a journey into nervous system regulation, somatic healing, energy medicine, spirituality, and deep self-discovery.
Over the past 20 years, I have worked with hundreds of individuals to help them move beyond survival patterns, heal unresolved wounds, regulate their nervous systems, and reconnect with the wisdom, purpose, and wholeness that already exist within them.
I have guided hundreds of clients through the journey from pain body to light body—helping them transform unconscious patterns into conscious choices, self-doubt into self-trust, and disconnection into deeper alignment with their authentic selves and have more meaningful relationships.
My work helps people understand the map of their healing journey so they can move from fear to freedom, from contraction to expansion, and from surviving life to fully living it.
Today, I blend science, psychology, somatics, and spiritual wisdom to help create lasting transformation.
We do not heal by fighting our pain.
WE heal by illuminating it with awareness until what once felt like a prison becomes a pathway to freedom

Seva: The Art of Selfless Service
“Seva” is a Sanskrit word meaning “selfless service” or work performed without any thought of reward or repayment. In ancient India, seva was believed to help one's spiritual growth and at the same time contribute to the improvement of a community.
Charitable Contributions
A portion of all proceeds is donated to local and global organizations that help empower all beings. We actively participate in community growth by seeking out initiatives that encourage love, service, and education for enlightened living.
Community Offerings
